Broken Silver

Where to begin... So many things has happened lately. Why don't I just tell you what creped out my life... forever.


I used to go on my Soul Silver all the time. And when I started the game, I chose Cyndaquil. I soon had a Quilava then after loads of training, finally, a Typhlosion. He was called Blaze, I did everything with him, I loved him like he was real and went on walks with him on my Pok'e walker all the time. He loved me back, in the game, when I talked to him, he always had a heart above his head. But then, one day, I was in the Pokemon center and decided to go on Wifi and see if anyone was trading any Pokemon. But I was a fool, I only brought Blaze with me. When I got there, the room was empty. I tried to search for any kind of pokemon to trade, but still, no one was there. No one was on Wifi. I sighed and was about to go out of the room when someone came in. He wanted to trade something for a Typhlosion. At this point I was like, no way, you're not getting Blaze! But he wanted to trade an Arceus for it.
I thought for a minute but then decided no, I had already gotten two Arceuses from my Diamond and my friend, so I went out the room. But, something strange happened... I couldn't! I couldn't leave. I was trapped. The guy was still there, staring into nothing. Still wanting to trade. I was about to turn off my DS when the text bar come up. It read;


"Blaze is scared, he's hiding behind you. He doesn't want to leave your side"


Now, this was creepy. Nothing like this had ever happened before, Blaze went behind me and started crying. The guy staring right at him, then, it continued. "Blaze is scared. Blaze doesn't like this person. He wants to stay with you. Blaze will do anything to stay. Blaze loves you.. "
Then, I had the chance to hug Blaze. I clicked "Yes"
Blaze's sprite got closer to me and I'm sure I saw his eyes close.
I had the chance to use my mic and whisper something to him. Now, I was like "Wow... This doesn't happen every day." So I whispered into the mic;
"Don't worry Blaze, I'll get us out of here."


This was creepy, Blaze seemed to understand me! Because the text bar came up again. It read;
"Blaze is smiling at you. He trusts you, do you want Blaze to talk to you?"
When this happened I got a sudden chill, "what will happen?" I said to my self, whispering. "Will Blaze really talk to me? Or will it be just text..."
I didn't have any time to think, I clicked yes. Then, a male voice, low and serious whispered through the mic, or so I thought it did...


"Kate... Please, save me, save us. I trust you to get us both out of here. Don't give me away... Please... I love you, you're a great person..."


I was freaked out right now, but also happy. Blaze was speaking to me! I couldn't stop myself and whispered back;


"Oh Blaze... I promise..."
Not quite sure what to say. I thought I was crazy, talking to nothing. But then I realised that this could just be the guy, who was staring at me. It was possible. So I turned my volume off. But... That wasn't enough. I could still hear Blaze, he replied;


"And I trust you.. I believe in you, Kate."


I was really scared, how could this be? It seemed like Blaze's sprite was crying but happy and looking at me, smiling.


"H-how can you talk to me?"


I couldn't help my self from saying, Blaze's sprite stopped smiling and looked at me seriously.


"Is this all a prank? There must be someone trying to trick me! None of this is real!" I continued.
Blaze looked a little sad and angry right now. There was a long silence until the guy moved. He came closer to me until he was right beside me. Blaze stepped back a bit, his sprite shaking. I could hear him panting, his fear coming out in quiet breaths.


Then, it was silent. Blaze wasn't talking to me any more. So I turned the volume back on. But, something strange happened. Instead of the usual music playing, nothing... No sound played, just the sound of my hand tapping against the DS, I was shaking.


Then, the horrible screech of Arceus played. It was so loud and deathly that I had to place my DS on the floor and cover my ears until the dead of silence filled the room again.
Arceus's sprite suddenly appeared out of no where, I flinched as it appeared. It was completely black, shadows flowing from its ring around it. It's eyes were glowing red and it's mouth was a squiggle, like a "W". It was smiling evilly at Blaze. Blaze's sprite stepped back again. But the Arceus kept hovering towards him. I saw taking steps back with Blaze, not letting that ghostly Arcues get anywhere near him.
The volume was still silent, but I could hear Blaze's petrified panting's again. It started crying, I didn't want to lose my best friend to this monstrosity! But, I looked like I had to. I couldn't leave and when I took steps, I seemed to be getting no where closer to the wall, as if I was walking forever. Quickly, I remembered that I had saved before going into the Wifi room, so I quickly turned my DS off.


I thought I was safe, I thought my nightmare was over. I placed the DS on my table and sat on the bed, looking at my pure black DS for a long time. Did it always have that Arceus sticker on it? The sticker of the Arceus was pure black and shadowy, with the red glowing eyes and evil creepy smile. Then, suddenly I had a thought.
There was no time to waste, I quickly turned my DS back on. The screen lit up and the normal scenes played.
I clicked on my game on the start menu, but... The screen was black. For a long few minutes I waited for something to happen. A text came up;


"..."


It read. I was confused, what was going on?


"..."


The text continued appearing, the same over and over again. I was about to turn my DS off once again but then something happened.
The normal music played and I found my self in my house. In my room.
But, Blaze wasn't with me. I was mortified when I saw the ghostly smile.


"Arceus!"
